(Almost) Olive Garden Chicken Alfredo

  • Cooked pasta (amount for about 5 servings- farfalle pasta is our favorite to eat with this)
  • Cooked chicken (I usually do about 1-2 chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces)
Alfredo sauce:
  • 1 pint of Heavy Cream
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cream cheese
  • 1/2- 3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese. Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well. Add the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Then add the chicken pieces. Simmer for at least 15-20 minutes on low. You may wish to season with a little salt and pepper. Works best with heavy cream, ok with 1/2 and 1/2 but not plain milk.
