Toffee Bars

1 1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. oats
3/4 c. butter
1 egg
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips, divided
1 c. butterscotch chips
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1 c. SKOR bits, divided

  • Heat oven to 350*. Grease 9x13 pan.
  • Combine flour, oats, and brown sugar in food processor. Pulse to chop oats, then cut in butter until crumbly. Add egg, mix well. By hand, stir in 1/2 c. chocolate chips and 1/2 c. butterscotch chips. Set aside 1 1/2 c. of dough, press remaining crumbs into pan and bake 10 min.
  • Pour sweetened condensed milk over warm crust, then top with remaining crust mixture, remaining chips, and SKOR bits. Bake 25-30 min.
  • Cut into bars and individually wrap for picnics.
